Crop cover / frost cloth
Mikroclima is a versatile
crop cover woven from clear strips of thin, but strong, UV stabilised polyethylene
thread. It is permeable to air and water, creating a healthy growing environment,
which assists germination and promotes growth and yield. Mikroclima protects
crops against frosts of 3 - 4 degrees C. It also shields crops from heavy
rain, hail and wind. Mikroclima weighs approx. 35 grams/sqm and provides
shading of 16%. Mikroclima is available in rolls from 2m to 16m wide or
in pre cut packs of 2m x 10m, 3m x 7m or 4m x 5m for the home gardener.
2m, 3m and 4m Mikroclima can also be cut to length as required. Mikroclima
is also available at quality garden centres throughout New Zealand. |

Tunnet - heavy duty
Mikroclima
Tunnet cover is very
similar to Mikroclima but it is heavier and stronger, and is more suited
to larger cloches, permanent or semi permanent structures. Tunnet weighs
80grams/sqm, has a break strength of 450kg/m and provides 19% shading.
Tunnet is available in rolls 2m x 100m, 4m x 100m and 8m x 50m. 2m
or 4m wide Tunnet can be cut to lengths as required. |

Ecotex Weedmat
Ecotex is a strong and
durable weedmat woven from UV stabilised polyethylene. Ecotex prevents
the growth of weeds while allowing the soil to breathe and not go sour.
Available in black or white, both with 15cm marking squares and in varying
widths from 1.05m to 4.2m and 100m rolls. |

Hortonova - flower support
netting
Tenax Hortonova is a
white bi-oriented plastic mesh designed specifically for the support of
vegetables and flowers. Hortonova is available in 3 grid sizes (80mm x
100m, 125mm x 125mm, 150mm x 170mm) and varying widths from .51m to 2.04m
in rolls 1000m long.
